Lovely quant village location. Staff are superb and wholesome local food. A mixture of tapas style courses or full-on extravaganzas.

Meal quality far short than advertised and not worthy of mention. The pork secrets (pork medallions) were merely offcuts. Not all items ordered were served, but due to the poor quality of the rest, it was a blessing in disguise. However, every item duly appeared on the bill, even the ones not served! An experience to forget.

We visited this small and unpretentious eatery last year and always knew we would return. It happens that it changed hands (and name in July and it has now acquired a more feminine touch. There are a few tables with umbrellas outside, and inside is much more spacious than you would imagine. Further, there is a covered terrace on the top floor where I think they also do barbecues from time to time. We have only ever been here at lunchtime, but I suspect that it is also well supported in the evening by the locals, as indeed it deserves to be. It was warm (hot! and sunny when we visited in early October, so having ordered at the counter, we sat outside and were soon served with our drinks, some excellent local olives and bread from the nearby proper(! bakery. My wife then had a simple ham and cheese omelette which was very well cooked – unlike the nasty rubbery “thing” that was dished up at the pretentious Monte Mar a couple of nights later! This was accompanied by salad and some chips that had been cooked in olive oil, as is the norm in the Iberian peninsular. For myself, I had fresh local mussels cooked with onions, white wine and tomatoes, enlivened with some paprika. This is just a good unpretentious place, primarily aimed at the local market.
