Coral A Sushiconcept - Cascais

Very good choice to have a food there. I had only a soup with tempura shrimps and small appertizer (veggie gyoza), but both were prepared from very fresh ingrediences, so I suppose also variety of sushi items would be tasteful and fresh. Excellent view from terrace over small port, with palm trees, you feel like beeing on french riviera.

Very lovely restaurant separate from but integrated into the building of the hotel Cascais Miragem The atmosphere and decor was bright and airy and the food choice was excellent and very tasty. In fact the restaurant and food was eaisily the best choice we made during our week long stay in Cascais and sampling a number of other local recommended restaurants.

Loved it! Spicy miso soup was delicious, especially with the surprise salmon chunks inside I don’t want to be one of those weird people who goes to the same restaurant every single night but it will most likely happen

Very good fresh Asian food with a combination of Japanese and Asia fusion. Really good choice of dishes. Excellent cocktails. Deserts are wonderful and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Will visit again!

First off, the service was great. Admittedly there were only two tables occupied when I came in but service with a smile is always welcome. Secondly the food. I ordered a combination platter with some sashimi, maki sushi and tempura. Fish in Portugal is always very fresh. And so it was in Coral Sushi. They even had chutoro on display although it was not on the buffet platter. Delightful to eat fresh fish sashimi style. What disappointed me was the tempura which was served with the ends plunged into the dashi dippling sauce. The crisp batter then became soaked and disintegrated which was a shame. Suggest to keep the sauce separate from the fried items. And go easy on the soya sauce. Another disappointment was that rice and dessert was not served with the meal. These are always part of a Japanese meal but here I had to order them separately. The Japanese o cha was a bit weak. So worth a return visit? Only if I'm dying for a semblance of Japanese food.
