Golden 9 - Casa Grande

Great food and service. I'm coming here for the corned beef and haash breakfast. This is more a diner feeling and a family operation. I always smell the smoker and it smells good. I have to try her smoked food. Maybe next time. Prices are reasonable, under $10 for my meal

My husband and I ate breakfast here. He ordered bacon, scrambled eggs, haash brown and a cookie with engraving. I had a waffle, eggs OE and hash brown. The hash browns were good and crispy and eggs were boiled exactly right. The cookie was slightly fluffy. The engraving was acceptable with a very weak sausage taste. It reminds me of an old school breaker I used to work on. The staff were all nice, helpful and very busy but attentive.

I absolutely love her Mexican food. Everything is made from scratch and tastes incredibly fresh. There's a saying in Texas that Texans pick their favorite Mexican restaurant based on their chips and salsa, and this place has the best chips and salsa I've ever tasted!

The restaurant offers a diverse menu with daily specials, serving delicious home-cooked meals. I had the fresh turkey along with stuffing, real mashed potatoes, and homemade gravy, all of which I highly recommend. The prices are very reasonable. I was too full to sample their homemade desserts and various flavors of ice cream, but I look forward to trying them on my next visit!

However, on May 23, 2022, we decided to give it another try. This time, we had a different waitress named Dee, and she was fantastic. She kept our drinks full and provided excellent customer service. Thanks to her, we had a much better experience this time, and we’re planning to return as long as she’s working.
