V Pizza - Cary

I will never order pizza for delivery from this place through DoorDash again. I don't understand why the pizza couldn't be cut before being delivered to a workplace. We didn't have a pizza cutter and trying to cut a cold pizza with plastic utensils was a struggle. The pizza arrived cold and uncut. When I called the store, I was told there was a disclaimer about it not being cut, but we never saw it as we ordered through the V Pizza website, not DoorDash. After being put on hold and then disconnected, three of us ate this $30 order and immediately had to run to the restroom. This experience was disappointing and I usually don't leave poor reviews, but in this case, it was necessary. Do better.

My wife and I had the best pizza we've ever tasted at this restaurant. It has set the bar so high that other pizzas will never compare. Even though we live 1.5 hours away, we plan to make a stop here whenever we are in town for Wolfpack or Canes games. The service was top-notch, the meal was outstanding, and we even got dessert. The atmosphere was lovely, with a stylish Side Door bar, a beautifully lit patio area, and live music on Thursday nights (possibly other nights too). We are grateful to have discovered this gem. I found myself back in town a few nights later and made sure to visit V Pizza again before heading home. They use simple, fresh ingredients (only 4 in the crust), which is rare and something we always appreciate. I have dietary restrictions and had no issues with their pizza. I highly recommend this place and hope they open a location in Winston-Salem soon!

Awesome pizza! So glad we finally found “our” pizza place.I really like how the kitchen is open and you can see the cooks bake the pizza, ovens are also cool to look at.We really enjoy coming here, especially for the lunch special, truly can’t beat it. Quality is unmatched.

It took a long time before someone even noticed us and got us seated. Our waiter in the beginning was very negligent: we ran out of water pretty quickly and I had ordered spicy pizza so it was a rough time. The wings my boyfriend ordered were mostly good, but some were quite burnt (see picture). My salad was forgotten about, and I ordered an Italian but they gave me a Caesar. My bf’s alcohol was good and the waitress that replaced our waiter was much better towards the end. We probably will not be back, but we may order takeout just for the quality of food.

Visited from out of town. The pizza was delicious. I enjoyed the cookies and cream gelato for dessert while my husband got the cheesecake. Both were great. The service was a little slow but we were told they were very short-staffed that evening so completely understandable. Will definitely visit again.
