Scratch Kitchen Taproom - Cary

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! It was like randomly picking a spot on a map and finding the perfect place to eat in town. The BLT was absolutely delicious and definitely the best choice.

Shrimp and grits was amazing. Different spin on flavor but it was very enjoyable. Nice atmosphere and good customer service.

My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday. He loves this restaurant, especially the southern chicken salad but with grilled chicken instead of fried. My personal favorite is also a salad. The Harvest salad is by far the best salad I've ever had. It is always fresh and has so many delicious toppings and the dressing ties it all together nicely. I also get mine with grilled chicken because their grilled chicken is amazing. We love the pimento cheese wontons, too, the sauce that comes with them is delicious. Basically everything here is great but since the prices are a bit high we don't go super often.

One of my favorite little gems in downtown Apex. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like so far. The scratch BLT was so good! You have to try the scratch fries! They also have the coolest cocktails.

Excellent restaurant. Had the Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich. Best I have had in a while. Chicken fried perfectly, very tender and juicy. Pimento cheese and syrup sauce just made it better. Home cut fries were wonderful. Hard to find restaurant that provides good quality all around. I will visit again for sure if back in area.
