Fortnight Brewing Company - Cary

After driving by for years, we finally stopped by this restaurant today. We noticed a food truck we were interested in nearby, and my husband, who loves all kinds of beers, suggested we stop in for drinks and a snack. The restaurant has a spacious outdoor seating area that is partially covered, as well as an indoor section with high tops and a bar. Two bartenders were working quickly and were happy to answer questions for us and other guests. Our drinks arrived promptly, and my husband was impressed with his selection. I tried the English Bloom cocktail, which consisted of gin, prosecco, simple syrup, and citrus, and found it to be very refreshing, despite not being much of a drinker these days. It was a welcome relief from the heat outside. We also grabbed some food from the food truck and enjoyed watching the restaurant get busier. Despite the crowd, there was never a long wait in line. We even saw a few adorable dogs, so we assume the restaurant is dog-friendly. Overall, it seems like a great spot to hang out with friends, and my husband has already declared it one of his new favorite spots – he's already planning his next visit.
