Bistro In The Park - Cary

Breakfast was super. My cooked to order omelet was ready in a few minutes and prepared the way I like it. Full of veggies and a flower garnish. Very attentive cleaners that kept dishes picked up and the dining area clean.

Had lunch here while attending a workshop and while the food was great the service was horrible. I ordered the Short Rib Grill cheese sandwich with a side salad and received cold french fries instead of salad. The burger my friend ordered came with no condiments and cold fries. Had to ask for drink refills which I never received. Had to go get manager to correct our order. Which she did promptly. Only saw original waitress when she brought check then took forever to get change. There were only 3 other tables, restaurant no where near full or busy.

I honestly can't believe this restaurant is so good. I have serious cravings for their steak salad. We had a conference there and I had the same meal three nights in a row for dinner and would do it all over again. Very, very impressed!

The waitress showed me to a table and assured me she would remember I was there, saying she would come back quickly with some water. However, after waiting for forty-five minutes without any water or service, I was completely ignored despite her passing by several times. While I understand they were busy, this reflects poorly on the hotel and restaurant management. They need to ensure they have enough staff, especially during dinner hours. It’s unacceptable for a guest to leave without eating. I can't comment on the food since I never had the chance to place an order. Ultimately, I decided to leave because no one seemed interested in serving me.

It’s too chilly to walk outside, so I decided to dine at the hotel restaurant in the Embassy Suites. I ordered the soup of the day, which is corn chowder, along with a Reuben sandwich. The staff provided excellent service, and with plenty of open tables tonight, the atmosphere is nice and quiet. The food is quite good and flavorful.
