El Cocinero Cafe And Cantina - Carthage

The prices are not cheap. Luckly, they have lunch plates. The service was OK, nothing speacial. The food was very very quick and hot. I was eating in about 5 min. from the time I ordered it. The Arrachera was very good. The beans and the rice needed more flavor. The flour torillas were basically RAW. This is typical of a mom and pop resaurant that went sucessful, and now the children are operating the place. Now sure if I will come back. We'll see.

Nine of us ate there when the food came out ,three ordered fajitas they were hot ,four of us order tacos one ordered chicken quesadilla another had Mac and cheese the tacos,the beans and rice was cold you would think a restaurant would take pride in their food and make sure all food would be served hot if it's supposed to be don't plan on going back and I hope someone doesn't ask lf we ate there

El Cocinero has AMAZING FOOD and the staff is wonderful.

Definitiw doesn't open until around 11. They should fix that, as I was very disappointed when I arrived to find the doors closed!

I waited for 15 minutes, but did not receive any chips or drinks. As a business owner working for a multi-billion dollar gas company, I now know not to bring my coworkers and employees to this restaurant. I am not going to ask for service and give you my money. Good day.
