Venta El Puerto Iii - Cartagena

This is a piece of Spain undiluted. Friendly staff. Locals out enjoying a beer. Full butchers counter and tapas bar. Good food cooked on a bbq. I had the tuna and my wife the beef stroganoff and we both loved it. Can’t wait for a return visit.

Visited here on different occasions for drinks and food. Service always quick. Evening menu was good with menus in English as well as spanish. Visited one afternoon and had the menu of the day which was unbelievably good for the price! 10€ for 4 courses with drinks! Could not even eat it all was portions were big!

We called in for lunch mid week and had the menu del dia. Good value but average food in large quantities. Which is good if you want a lot of mediocre food served very quickly.The mains were delivered just after the starters. Service was haphazard, getting the attention of a waiter proved annoyingly difficult. Had good reports from friends, so may try again but will not go for the menu del dia.

Realmente es un lugar fantástico tanto para disfrutar con amigos como en familia. Comimos allí durante la Semana Santa y tenían un menú que, a pesar de costar 24€, valía totalmente la pena, con tres entrantes y un segundo plato muy bueno. Además, no tuvimos que pagar extra por el postre ni por el café. El servicio fue excelente y nos fuimos muy satisfechos.

Highly recommended. Good food. Three Course plus salad, bread and drink. Friendly staff. Always busy so go early.
