I've had lunch at 917 eight or nine times since 2017; it started out pretty good, got better as they got the kinks out of the operation. Back around three years ago there were a few minor glitches in food portion size (as in size variations of the same dish among my family members). But that was then. Now my favorites (Spanish Octopus, Steak, and Burger) have been consistently excellent in taste, appearance, and portion size. The serving staff is very attentive. The whole Restaurant 917 experience is worthwhile and repeatable.

I dined here yesterday with my spouse. Over all it was an okay dining experience. I had requested to sit near a window when I made my reservation (month ago) and had messaged a night before to confirm, but I was informed that window seat are not reserved it’s first come first serve, understandable. They sat us at there “VIP table” it was a round table next to the bar. Service wasn’t anything great, the server was a bartender, he checked up on us maybe twice. Appetizers were pretty fast and tasted great, drinks were good. Loved that they had a designated driver menu. Our entree’s took a while to come out, maybe they forgot about us since it was past closing and our server/bartender was busy cleaning up. I order the duck confit and the flavors were great, the only problem I had was that it seem to be just warm, same with my husbands burger and fries, again it seems they might have forgotten us. Not sure if I’d go back, maybe for cocktails at the bar.They are a card only place, no cash.
