Paul Schat's Bakery - Carson City

An excellent place! If you're staying in Carson City, you can't go wrong stopping here for a vanilla Chai latte or a beautiful pastry. They had several cakes and bread loaves available. They even have local honey . It's a cool little establishment with lots of charm. The people were super nice.

It's a Great place for casual eating love All the great home made breads and goodies!! But... At checkout they asked for a Tip... Well nobody brought coffee Nobody asked if we wanted anything else Nobody offered to do anything like clean the table we had to ask for a rag to clean it ourselves So to ask for a Tip? For what? Kinda of Shame when you have 5 ladies working Still love the bakery items very good

One of our favorites! Soup wonderful. Bread divine! We love Shepherds, rye banana nut. Prices have risen, but fair for the quality. Every dessert, cookies etc amazing! Servers employees are so helpful!

Best bakery around. I am so glad they are here and we no longer have to drive hours to Bishop for their baked goods.

I guess I was hungry… all that’s left is my empty plate! Everything was delicious. We had the house favorite Schatts famous turkey sandwich. Plenty of turkey, and it tasted very fresh. I had the turkey vegetable soup, and it was fantastic with lots of turkey and vegetables, you could tell it’s homemade because I would found a couple of turkey bones in it, which I found a positive. Also had a Dutch dip sandwich. French dip with grilled onions. Breads are made locally and are fantastic. Service is great… I wish I was hungrier because I would love to eat some of the pastries in the pastry counter.
