Until today. Arrival and known change of management. Okay, so far, nothing bad, let's see how it goes. I find a general lower quality of dishes, no eclatante but it was better. The worst surprise, however, I find it in the account. I had ordered truffle cutters, 13 euros with asterisk, read the asterisk and I find it written that the price could vary depending on the market. Okay, I'm telling you, if I can't find any other mini post-it indication with the new price and the waitres doesn't tell me anything, the price will be that. The cutters have little dusted truffles, and the sauce nothing much. I'll tell you, they were much better before, but they're feedable. In the account I find first 18 euros, I ask why to two waiters and I am answered is the pasta with truffle . I have read the post, but I certainly did not expect 5 euros of difference! , and the answer was eh but in this period the truffle costs so much. At that point, I'm not so angry. Of course I would have expected to be warned, to decide whether to take the cutters to 18 euros instead of 13. So he really knows about it. I'm sorry after so many years, but I can't bear these things, honesty and clarity come first. Never again.
After a long time we returned to eat at home white with the new manager to eat excellent from appetizers to the first fettuccine to the lamb sauce to the Ravioli with spinach to the meat mixture to the grill where there is also the abacchio and the sausage of liver good lunch together with Amic including Rita di Turania and Gianni with the daughter es ILMIO Nucleo and friends. Restaurant newly renovated discreetly furnished. The varied menu where 1/3 of the dishes are not available. My table ate both fish and meat menus. The banal sea appetizer with cold mussels and dry marinated anchovies. The first banals. The very banal land appetizer with mediocre quality meats. The wines not available and among the ones proposed were missing the one required. The red wine of the house served at cold temperature. Service to review. Excessive account not suitable for service and food.
For personal business interests in the area I frequented this place that had a good kitchen but... I did not feel comfortable... a cold environment even if properly professional.. and then, making also of the kilometers, I could save myself, I moved to Tufo or to Turano. in today's day, having little time for lunch, I proposed to my guests to return to the white house ...preso from the conversation I noticed plan that the faces who had received us a change of management. .that, in my opinion, has given a new vitality and pleasure to the local...then you know.. you do not eat anymore for hunger but the catering needs to serve quality also of friendliness and welcome.... the price?good and in the norm.. and I am glad to be home without more to make those kilometers more.........
I went to dinner with my mom mid-September. We chose a white house because for years it has always been a certainty. We start immediately badly from the drinks because I ask a bottle of 0.37 ml white wine and we open a red bottle, but of course it can access; how is the error compensated? By bringing us half a liter of white: of course it is the same thing : but it goes well having managed for 15 years a restaurant, I let it lose because not too important. We order 2 appetizers: 1 mountain, on which nothing to replicate and 1 sea starter and here comes the beautiful: they bring us a dish with the soutè of mussels, my mother begins to eat, then tells me they have a strange taste, we look better and the mussels had not been clean MINIMAMENTS!!! This is very serious as people's health is also undermined. Shortly after we tell the waiter that he can take everything away not saying anything, but probably seeing the dish with the practically intact mussels asks us if it had gone well and our answer was no. Soon after a girl arrives, who tells us that it was true that the mussels had a strange taste and to our question whether it was normal that they were not clean, of course we were answered no. Let's continue with the second dishes, my fillet had to be very much in the blood and it arrived average, but it goes well hardly guess the cooking, my mother had ordered shrimp to the grills and eternal magic, arrives spigola or orata (I don't remember with rpecision to the salt. Let's see the waiter trying to convince us that we misrepresented our order. This is also very bizarre. But it goes well, after this fantastic experience and after more than 10 years of lunch and dinner in this restaurant, as it is right that it is, in the future, we will turn our choices elsewhere, not for mistakes during the dinner because only those who work wrong and can happen, but for the very serious preparation not clean of the mussels and we hope that we will not have recons on health. I hope that in the future they will have greater attention, care and protection of the customer and since sorry that a place like this, in which there are so many young people to work, has degenerated so much
