Bidrage med feedback**Service:** This was our first visit to this hot pot restaurant, and upon arrival, we were unsure where to go as there was no one to greet us. We noticed a sign directing us to the second floor for hot pot, so we made our way up. Upon entering, we were greeted rather oddly by a staff member carrying a pigeon, which felt quite strange and unsanitary. A waitress soon approached us, took our order, and informed us that we could select three types of meat at a time. She was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Once we were seated, they had prepared our broth in soup bowls, but unfortunately, there were no instructions on how to adjust the heat if necessary. As a result, we both burned our mouths because the broth was scalding hot! On the plus side, we had multiple wait staff checking on us frequently, which I appreciated. **Buffet:** The buffet offered an impressive variety of vegetables and seafood. My husband tried a clam but found it to have a rather fishy taste, while I enjoyed several shrimp that were quite good. The selection of sauces was also excellent, and they even had a self-serve ice cream station. **Food:** The menu boasted a solid selection of meats, which appeared to be high quality. I opted for the “original house soup,” while my husband chose the “Chinese Hot Pot HuoGuo” with mala spice. He found his soup to be somewhat watered down but still flavorful. In contrast, mine lacked flavor, so I ended up adding chili oil for some extra kick. **Cost:** We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and to our surprise, the dinner price of $28.99 applies on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays regardless of the time. Additionally, a 15% gratuity is automatically added to every bill, regardless of the party size. **Overall Impression:** Our hot pot experience was rather average, and given the high prices, it’s unlikely we would return. **Kid-Friendliness:** The restaurant does have private rooms, which seemed to be designated for families with children, making it a somewhat kid-friendly option.
Cooking your own food at the table is always a delightful experience with family! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the customer service was outstanding. The food was fresh, flavorful, and vibrant. I highly recommend this place for a unique dining experience. Although the prices are on the higher side, it's certainly worth it.
This boba shop offers great value! The quality of the meat was average. However, for less than $30, you get an all-you-can-eat option that includes shrimp, crab, and crawfish. I've been to better hot pot places, though. Rating for food: 3/5.
This was my second visit to Shabro, and I must say, it’s a truly wonderful place with stunning scenery right from the entrance. I ordered the house’s original soup with brisket and lamb. The soup had a nice balance and wasn’t overwhelming, and the meat was fantastic overall. The bar offered a wide range of options, including various sauces. It was well-maintained, and I appreciated that there was no cross-contamination, unlike at some other places. The service was excellent; our waitress checked on us just the right amount without being intrusive. I'll definitely return here with my friends! Thank you!
This restaurant was the original spot for Korean individual hotpot five years ago, but it's clearly not as vibrant as it once was. The broth lacked depth and was quite flat in flavor. The texture of the meat didn’t feel right when cooked in the broth. Additionally, the selection of sauces was very limited, making it difficult to create a complex flavor to enhance the meat. The crab was frozen and had very little meat on it. Compared to other places, there weren't as many variety options available.
