La Vista Cocina - Carrollton

Had dinner last night the food was wonderful. The service was excellent. But let me tell you the above and beyond. I left my phone on the table with all my cards in it. Before I could get back up there the next day, the manager drove to my house to return my phone to me. That is just over the top in my book. Could not ask for better. Thank you La Vista.

This place is the bomb... I've tried prob 10 different items, just to see if I can find something that isn't amazing. I have yet to find something not yummy and of food quality. I took my entire family here for my birthday every single one of them thought the food was so good asked to come again half already have ! . Hubby teenage son love the food as well. Their veggies, yum. Carnasada, delicious. Beef fajitas... Brisket quesadilla, to die for. Tacos galore.

Fantastic carne asada…chimichuri sauce is the best I ever had!!

Stopped in La Vista for a dinner, and we were seated right next to two couples' tables. Very close. We ordered chips with salsa and queso. The chips were great, but the salsa and queso did not impress me. The salsa was very watery, and not that spicy. The queso was also watery, and didn't taste like queso I'm used to. I got a chicken quesadilla, and it was alright. It had a lot of chicken in it, but it's not something out of the ordinary. This is your average Tex-Mex restaurant. 3 stars.

Neighborhood favorite for Mexican food! Castle Hills area off Old Denton and Hebron. Drinks are good, food is fresh, and service is excellent. Parking: Large open parking lot. Parking is also available at the front door. Kid-friendliness: There is and outside eating area with a play place for children Wheelchair accessibility: Tables can accommodate wheelchairs. Easy entrance.
