The Red Bank - Carrick-on-shannon

Wonderful holiday dinner at the red bank! welcome, service and eating were all excellent. we had a wheelchair driver on our party, and the staff was very friendly and efficient in providing special needs. this was our second visit recently, and both of them were excellent. one of the best restaurants in Carrick-on-Shannon – highly recommended!

We were initially seated at a table that was vibrating from the kitchen fans downstairs. We were relocated to a still table and had a lovely meal/evening. Thankyou to all the staff and compliments to the chefs! See you in 2023, hopefully.

Cocktails are incredible! Food is amazing and very reasonable. All the staff are wonderful too, can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely meal the food and presentation and variety of local produce was excellent. However we had booked a table for 6 and I phoned on the day to change booking to 5 people When we arrived we were brought to a table with 4 settings and the 5th setting had to be added which was placed on the end of the table inthere was limited space already for seating and dish placement. We enquired if there was another table available as the booking was for 5 and we were told there wasn’t. We have been to the Red Bank twice in the last 2 months and thoroughly enjoyed the meals We are looking forward to the next visit!
