Open Eye Cafe L.L.C. - Carrboro

Not only was their coffee and tea delicious, but their staff was super friendly and they stay open while any other coffee shop closes in the early afternoon. Many speculative seats near sockets and they were very aware without overlaying about safety. Very recommended!

Nice to pour. I would like to have more than one origin, from and somewhere where the tasting had notes. It was good. When I came home, I still drank it. I noticed that the cup gives a paper taste. (Not the first pour to be affected by the cup, ime) I cleaned the rest in a cup and it went away.

I love Open Eye! I never really have to see it in the previous times, but also during the pandemic, Open Eye was a great place to have just a little normal in your life. I appreciate that they still make good efforts to protect their staff, and I also appreciate the variety of employees. Beside the social elements, the drinks are always fantastic here and the pastries from the 9th. St Bakery is always fresh! I love coming here and I will continue to do this as long as I live in the triangle.

I feel really safe here as a very visible trans woman. I'm new in town and like to go here if I have to be around other queer and trans people, because it always seems queers here! Probably the most convenient thing I ever felt in a public place in NC. Great interior and exterior seats, nice staff and the cold brewing lot changed my life.

Great cafe. They also use some of the best beans in the triangle and sell them at a better price than other shops I've been to that use Carboro roasters.
