Pizzeria Delfino - CARRARA

If you want a takeaway pizza in Carrara in the old town, then this is your spot! You may need to expect a wait as they are super popular with locals, but this is the best recommendation you can have! If there is a 25 minute wait for you to get something that takes 90 seconds to make in a crazy hot traditional pizza oven then you know it is going to be awesome and we were not disappointed. While you wait, we were able to wander 200 yards to the nearby Piazza Alberica with its wide selection of bars and enjoy a nice chilled glass of Vermentino while we waited to get our pizza and when we returned our pizza was waiting for us to eat over in the little pedestrianised area directly opposite the pizzeria. 3 soft drinks and 2 huge, sensational pizzas came to just 20 Euros, which as far as I'm concerned is great value. Highly recommended for delicious pizzas with every topping you can think of! My seafood toppings including prawns was fab!
