Delgado's Mexican Food - Carpinteria

I visited on Tuesday night at 6:30 PM and sat outside. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. The chips and salsa were great (definitely ask for the spicier salsa). I tried the pastor special and the tacos, and Mr. Papa Delgado was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Delgado is a great spot for a meal. The food is flavorful and offers a nice variety of Mexican dishes. The homemade chips and salsa are excellent, and the seafood enchiladas are tasty as well. I highly recommend the al pastor burrito—it's delicious! The portion sizes are on the smaller side, though.

I decided to visit this restaurant with my family, and we loved it! The atmosphere was fantastic, even if you just stop by for takeout. They had wonderful live music, which added to the experience. I would definitely be interested in returning just for the ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious! However, I think the presentation of the takeout could be improved; I’d love to see more sustainable plates and utensils used. I highly recommend this place—be sure to try the enchiladas; they were amazing!

My mother I was invited to breakfast on Sundays. Then we were invited to dinner the same day. Had a chimichanga and my cousins Pozole and mom had two tacos and a salad. Both times of the day we are great. Also the great customer service.

A little kitchen snafu made for a short wait for lunch. But they let me know, apologized and honestly... it was worth the wait. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh. Staff was nice and friendly. It was a win for a random drive by and stop. If I lived in the area, it would for sure be a staple stop. I am not an expert, but I suspect they make their tortillas fresh or at least get them locally because they were soft and lovely and taste nothing like store bought tortillas... Delicious.
