Chang Thai Kitchen - Carp

Sue and Von - owner/operators of the Chang Thai Kitchen in Carp hosted a special pre-Valentine buffet Saturday night. The buffet featured a number of Thai including salads, noodle dishes, rice dishes and desserts. We have eaten here before and the food is always wonderful. This special night was just as good and a couple of local musicians played for the patrons that filled the restaurant. Just a great way to spend the evening.

Rice paper spring rolls very fresh. The crunchy batter on the calimari was a pleasant surprise. The yellow curry potato dish was the best I've had. Exterior is not much to look at but the interior is beautiful. A gem in Carp. Carp is lucky to have this restaurant.

The outside is deceptive... The inside is just beautiful! We were greeted by a lovely fountain with goldfish, the color palette is very warm and real tablecloths. The gentleman waiter was exceptionally kind. Now onto the food.. We had yellow curry and pad Thai. Both very delicious, generous proportions!

The Thai food was not particularly spicy for a Thai restaurant and some of the dishes were not very exciting. There were about ten in our group and no-one had any complaints

We had a great dinner last night at Chang Thai kitchen! I highly recommend the pad Thai and curries. Everything is so fresh and the portions are always generous. We had fast and friendly service as always :) Thank you!!
