We LOVE Sassafras! The staff is friendly, attentive efficient! Martin, the owner is “Hands-on”, engaging approachable. The food is delicious always consistent! The ambience is warm inviting! It's our favorite place to dine! ?

Whenever guests are in from out of town, we bring them to Sassafras for a delicious meal with excellent service and great ambiance. Shrimp and grits is always a favorite selection. We tried the Beef tips, shrimp platter, fried green tomatoes and the She Crab Soup. All were fantastic! See you again soon!

 flew in from Florida to spend time with my daughter and she said she wanted to eat here!  it was totally delicious. We loved the tuna love the blue crab nachos. Outstanding recommend this place to anybody. I can't remember our waitresses name, but she was bubbly and right there for everything we ever needed and reasonably price one of the gems of Greenville, South Carolina!

Best meal we had while visiting Greenville this past weekend. Sara was our server and she was just delightful and although busy, took great care of us. Plates were full of deliciousness. Will definitely be back. We heard that ‘Sally' was also a server to ask for, but she was off this past Saturday.

Outstanding dining experience. Prompt seating in a nice quiet corner to celebrate a friend's birthday. Very pleasant waitress who attended to our every need. The food was absolutely delicious! Choice of dessert was offered free of charge to the birthday celebrant. This was our first visit, but we will definitely return.
