Michael's Seafood - Carolina Beach

The food here is incredibly delicious! Although there were some mix-ups, the service was still excellent. The chowder is absolutely the standout dish on the menu. I also enjoyed her homemade champagne vinaigrette—it was delightful! The portions are generous, so be sure to come hungry!

This restaurant offers some of the best seafood around. The seafood mac and cheese was absolutely delicious, and the low country dish was almost too generous to finish! The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. The menu is quite diverse, catering to every taste in your group.

I had an amazing fresh seafood dinner during my visit this summer. The wait wasn't too long, especially since it was our first time on a Saturday night. We savored the drinks and every dish we ordered. I highly recommend the seafood, the mac and cheese, and the watermelon margarita!

This was our first time in the restaurant and visited Carolina Beach. There was about an hour waiting and parking can be hard to get because it sits in a striped shopping center and there are not so many rooms. We were lucky and have 2 places near the restaurant. The staff was friendly, none of the ducks are fried, either grilled, baked or bruised. I started with the seafood cahowder, it was very thick and contained a good part of seafood. For the duck I order the mixed grill that was swordfish, scallops and shrimps. My two sides were potatoes and broccolini. My daughter had the child's meal. Everything was well seasoned and cooked properly. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

Overall food was good. Service was good as well. The chowder was as good as everyone has mentioned. Salads were good (house, caesar, beet). My mom had the beet salad and said it was delicious. The steak dinner was good. The loaded tots were super yummy especially with ranch. The shrimp and scallop scampi was good but could have used a bit more scamp sauce. The catch of the day, tile fish, was good and they were accommodating to make it scampi style with pasta. The galley sampler was good and you're able to customize it however you like. Overall everything was good but I have had better seafood on the island.
