Hoplite Pub And Beer Garden

We went for a short trip to the beach and came across hoplite. It's a cute little place with really good food. They had live music and the guys (New River) were great. We sat at the bar since there is only 2 of us and the bartender Ashley was AMAZING! We will be back next time we come to town.

The meatloaf was terrific, the fish and chips, a terrific disappointment.

This Irish pub is a must-visit whenever we’re at Carolina Beach. The shepherd's pie and bangers and mash are both delicious and authentic, and the fish and chips are also a big hit. If you enjoy fun appetizers, you should try Hoplite's unique reuben rolls or their assortment of deviled eggs. The food, music, and service are exceptional. The off-season specials are fantastic!

Great little hidden gem of a place. Not bright and fancy, just comfortable like the little corner place back home.
