Bidrage med feedbackWow, simply amazing! We purchased six different items, and each one had its own unique identity, while all remaining super light and well-balanced. You can tell that a lot of love and attention has gone behind each patisserie. Even their carrot cake — a dessert that has historically been done over and over again, and is all too often overly sweet — was stunningly unique, and brought its own flair to the table. Washing this all down with a cozy pour over, and you have yourself a perfect treat. We will definitely be coming back!
I did come at a later time so there weren't many options to choose from. I decided to go with the macaroons. They were sweet but not overly sweet, all the macaroons had a nice crunch on the outside, but the insides weren't soft and chewy which was a bit disappointing. My least favorite macaroons were the hazelnut and orange. My top favorite was the chocolate. The other flavor I got tasted too similar to the chocolate I couldn't tell what it was.I would like to come early in the day to try more of the selections. The owner was very friendly and talkative.
Love every single thing I have tried. The passion Tai has for his creations is inspiring. The layers and flavors never disappoint. Absolutely great place for pastries.
Amazing pastries and kindest service of any restaurant or bakery in the area. You have to try it! A mix of classic and unique flavor combinations, so much love and thought goes into everything.
This is my favorite place to get pastries. Some of the best you can find in Chicagoland. The opera cake is incredible. The lemon tart is ridiculous (and I DO NOT like lemon pastries in general… but this one is excellent). And by far the best almond croissant I’ve ever had. The owner is always friendly/welcoming and you can tell he’s passionate about his work. Highly recommend.
