Willie's - Carmichael

Only came by this place, but when I asked the Missus what she wanted for lunch, she said we should try it out. Really enjoyed the shake and frits. Simple menu. Eat outside. Friendly and fast service.

Always an excellent cheeseburger, made cleanly, very polite staff, and freshly made and far faster than in n out. This is now our night spot. Great staff who really care. I love this place.

The atmosphere was pleasant. Restaurant was clean. They had plenty of napkins and cups for water.

Willie's is a great spot for a burger. The HUGE Cheesy Bad Boy was overflowing with deliciousness. However, the French fries left a lot to be desired; they were soggy and barely warm. I’ve decided to skip the fries from now on! On the other hand, the standout item was the chocolate malt—it was thick, rich, and incredibly tasty! You can really tell that the great malt shops take their time perfecting the flavors that many restaurants overlook. Initially, I thought it was a bit small for $5, but after both of us tried to get the malt up the straw, it turned out to be just the right size! The hamburgers were juicy, perfectly cooked, and seasoned with fresh, vibrant spices. I love a great burger on a nice bun, and Willie's definitely delivers—no limp lettuce or mushy tomatoes here. So, if you find yourself in Arden and Fair Oaks, make sure to grab a burger, hot dog, or even tamales. Enjoy!

I've been meaning to try this place for a while, and I'm disappointed I didn't come sooner. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere inside was quite peaceful. The food was amazing—imagine In-N-Out but with the option to add bacon and avocado! Plus, the fries are extra crispy. Overall, I will definitely return, and I’m not sure when I’ll go back to In-N-Out because this place is far superior!
