El Palmar Mexican - Carmichael

If I could give more stars, I would. My daughter is hard allergic to paprika, which is a problem since everyone uses it to season. We let the staff know and the manager checks and checks what we could order for them. It doesn't seem hard to do, but many restaurants don't make it to know a lot of their ingredients. More importantly, the food was delicious. I was in another restaurant nearby that if you did not ask for a paprika, the food was incredibly bland, so it is important to mention good delicious food.

Wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. The staff always makes you welcome. Eating is so delicious it is hard to choose one thing, but my favorites are the cheese enchiladas or the chicken salads. Margaritas are excellent and they have a variety of flavors. Family has been eating here for over a decade.

Rene, Oscar, Diego and all the others who work the amazing people in El Palmar make every visit there the highlight of our day. Can't beat the service, food and atmosphere in El Palmar. Our favorite Mexican restaurant ever! Always friendly and consistent in its quality of food and service.

Excellent place to eat. Great atmosphere, staff and above all: food. Never had a bad dish here, and the crispy, chicken teeth are some of the best I ever had. Another hidden jewel in the Carmichael/Arden area.

Amazing food, service, staff and overall experience. It was our first time and we truly enjoyed every minute of it. Was so refreshing to have wait staff treat us like customers and not burdens like we so often experience now days. We will be back for sure!!
