Savor - Carmel

It was my girlfriends birthday and we wanted to go somewhere nice to celebrate, savor is one of my favorites around Carmel and I’ve been here a few times in the past, Milan and Brandon were great servers when we had them before. Tonight we had Aaron and it felt like he paid little to no mind to our table. He was barely around the table, we needed plates cleared from appetizers for quite a while, he seemed rather unhappy with our table after one of our guests sent back a lobster tail that was charred too much, we all tried a piece and confirmed that it was dry, pretty bland, and tasted burnt. If he had told us how the lobster tails come out of the kitchen then maybe our guest would’ve ordered something else too. Working in the service industry I understand it’s hard to take care of these things especially when you have a full section but I still felt like Aaron was much more attentive to other tables around him besides ours. Next time we come in we’ll be asking for Milan or Brandon to ensure we get great service. Cocktails are always great, appetizers are always great, dessert is always great. Just disappointed with the service more than anything, everyone else enjoyed their main courses thoroughly at least.

Our server was friendly and accommodating. The food and cocktails were wonderful. Totally enjoyed!

Sat at patio table over manhole… it was terrible! Made bench seating VERY uncomfortable, table sloped way too much. Otherwise usually great seating experience.

Savor is one of our favorites. The weekend seafood specials are always outstanding. Our server, Meg was excellent.

Was delicious, free parking in the garage out back, I had rack of Lamb and the wife had cioppino, both cooked perfect and tasty. Got food in about minutes, so not terribly long. Beer selection was okay, wouldn't mind some dogfishhead with such a boujie place. Overall good experinece.
