Norte Mexican Food Cocktail - Carlsbad

The food here is delicious, and the margaritas are fantastic! I always enjoy visiting this place, especially during happy hour. However, I did want to mention that when I visited on March 23, 2023, I noticed something concerning. While I was in the restroom, I saw the hostess rinse her hands but not wash them thoroughly with soap before returning to work.

This place was delicious and fast with food coming out hot. The servers were very friendly and very accommodating of our family! The salsa had such great flavor!

A few weeks ago we visited Norte in Carlsbad Village. Before visiting a new restaurant, I check the reviews. I was surprised to see several negative reviews. But everyone was hungry and parked so in we went! We had a very nice lunch on the pretty patio. Our waiters were attentive and welcoming. Norte is known for the yummy soups and mine was hot and plentiful! The chips were warm, crispy and salsa was good. Everyone else enjoyed their food and wouldn’t not hesitate to go again. Can’t beat the location, one block from the beach. The parking is not bad. If you’re looking for a place to take out of town visitors, this would be a great choice.

Amazing food great drinks and service is always why I come back. Love this restaurant, the owners and the staff. They always deliver day or night rain or shine.

As a self-proclaimed ambassador for Mexican cuisine, I was disappointed by this restaurant. The flavors were lacking, and my sopes resembled more of a salad than the dish I expected. My daughter-in-law's torta was so unappetizing that she couldn't even finish it. The place has potential, but unfortunately, it just didn't appeal to my taste buds.
