Daily News Cafe - Carlsbad

We live in San Clemente and go out of our way to drive south to the Daily News Cafe. It opens very early, which is a bonus to those who like to get an early start. The menu has a lot of excellent menu options. The food is always served fresh fast. The servers are always super friendly, and you can tell they love their job. Plus it's located in the heart of Carlsbad where it's super close to the beach and beautiful downtown.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. It's a relaxed spot to catch up over breakfast. We really enjoyed our meal.

The lovely little place serves some great breakfast. Definitely give it a go.

Fabulous food and very decent prices! There is something for everyone off this menu. We ate here multiple times on our trip and completely enjoyed every meal. The service was top notch.

The staff was super friendly. We didn't have to wait a long time to get seated even though it was crowded. I had the breakfast burrito and my friend had the seafood omelet. I was not a fan of my dish because they put the salsa on top of the burrito. I ate my burrito with a fork. The burrito itself was okay nothing special. My friend said that her dish lack seasoning.
