California Bistro - Carlsbad

This restaurant is always busy! We stopped by for drinks after dinner. I love the ambience here, especially sitting at the long, big round bar. My husband and I each ordered a cocktail. We both enjoyed them. I had a winter spiced whiskey cocktail, which had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste. I preferred my husband's old fashioned. We plan on returning soon for food, as the menu looks enticing.

Oh my goodness, Seasons 52 was fantastic! The hostess and our waitress, Amanda, were friendly and helpful. We ordered the lunch special, which included a mushroom flatbread and mushroom bisque. The bisque was the best I've ever had. The Naked burger salad was also delicious and flavorful. We will definitely be returning soon.

My wife and I went on a date on New Year's Day 2022 in the La Jolla, California area. It was in the late afternoon and we chose to have dinner at Seasons 52. I ordered a filet mignon steak, cooked medium well just how I like it, and my wife ordered a steak salad along with a few drinks. The steak was perfectly seasoned and my wife's salad was delicious. To end our date, we had coffee and shared a couple of desserts. The service was excellent and we highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Went here with a group of 8 on a Saturday night and we were able to get a table with no reservation! There's a very comfortable feel here. It is a bit pricey but the food is absolutely worth it. No one in my group was unsatisfied with their meal. I had the filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend if you are in the area, to splurge and eat here.

I’m extremely impressed by the service here. Though short staff, host and Tom were attentive and provided a friendly service to our family. I am glad that we took Tom’s recommendation and got those adorable desserts! That lobster flatbread is totally amazing!! Will be back soon with my parents!!
