Went at l’incudine for an aperitivo. The service was very friendly and quick. The drinks were good! Would definitely go back there!

Hi Travelscore readers! As usual we discovered a rare gem but this time it is not a restaurant It is an Italian bar located in one of the most remote little islands of Italy. We have been in Saint Peter island (that locals call Isola di S.Pietro actually the westernmost island of the whole Italian archipelago firmament. Here the only village is Carloforte a pleasant old fashion place on the Mediterranean Sea, worldwide famous for the fishing of its Red Tuna . L ' Incudine Bar is right here and it is incredibly sophisticated regarding its cocktails production. The owner Gianni Rosso is the signature bartender who makes simply the best cocktails creations we ever had around Italy and the rest of the world. We are not exaggerating in say this above, just because its unicity, we decided to taste almost his majorities of drinks available on the bar list. He also invented, on his own, several new cocktails like the local and legendary Zenzy a ginger based drink which is extremely indicated for the hot summer period. Most of the cocktails are also available in a non-alcoholic version so they are even suitable for the kids. The beverages are always served with very nice antipasto style tasteful local food samples. This is what Italians call Aperitivo style. We want also highlight the awesome toasts prepared with several fresh local ingredients by the creative Gianni and his nice two girls who assist him. It is a nice place to have conversation in the late afternoon, evening and off course till late night. Outside tables are right on the street, and although you don ' t see the water of the sea, you certainly going to watch the real italian village life, with its slow rhythms and dolce vita . I met here locals as well foreign travelers and they were surprised like us in find this here!
