Hostess was very polite, the food was delicious and made to MY spice tolerance. Would definitely visit again!
We visited Harrisburg. We ordered the butter chicken (milk) and simple Naan bread for execution. We called in our order and spoke to a very friendly, knowledgeable woman. She said it was done in 30 minutes. We came to get our order and it was ready. Let me just say that my husband and I love Indian food and have been in many Indian restaurants. That was the best chicken we've ever had. The Naan was also excellent.
Went on a Saturday at 12:45ish. The service was pitiful, I only saw one gentleman, and we waited for everything, to be seated, a good 8 min before we even saw a human(but it was empty aside from 2 other diners)slow on drinks, slow to take the order, food was probably 50 min. I ordered butter chicken and kebabs for an appetizer, and both were AMAZING! Leftovers were great too! They are extremely understaffed. I think the guy who was there last Saturday, was alone. No other explanation of why we waited so long to be seated, yet the restaurant was empty, he was clearly cooking, seating, waiting, etc.
After two decades (just recently returned from Fl), the buffet STILL rocks! I'm not a buffet, but I'm so glad we tried this treasure again. Amazing variety of foods, and almost all of them tasted like you ordered from the menu. Can not recommend very enough.
Amazing lunch buffet. I was very pleasantly surprised to find an Indian lunch buffet. To my knowledge, this is the only area of lunch buffet and only a 3 minute drive from the capital along the front road. Not only was the food fresh and well filled, it was amazingly delicious. The Paneer was spicy and also the Samosas. The rice was deliciously crowned jasmine. There was also a kind of vegetable fried rice that was Amazing, although I am uncertain what to call it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was alive and open with plenty of daylight along a window wall. The windows overlook the adjacent hotel pool and the park along the river at the end of the front road. I could also catch a very appealing Lyft from the hotel. The neighborhood is obviously not overlooked for a good reason. Another kind of capital shield, it seems. Odd, how certain neighborhoods are still torn in red.
