Carlisle Diner

It's a diner, so the ambiance is pretty lackluster. The carpets are stained and the tabletops are worn. If you're expecting a beautiful setting, this isn't the place for you. However, the food is incredible. I had the Chicken Ranch Wrap, and it was so huge I couldn't finish it—this massive sandwich felt as heavy as one of my sneakers. The chicken was cooked to crunchy perfection, and the fries are so addictive they must be cooked with some secret ingredient because you just can't stop eating them. Phyllis and Tammy make a fantastic team; they could have retired long ago, but thankfully they’re still around serving delicious food. If you find yourself in Carlisle and you're hungry, don’t worry about the decor—just go for some amazing diner food and enjoy a few moments with some friendly faces at the Carlisle Diner. You definitely won’t regret it.

It's hard to find a really good diner anymore. This place did not disappoint. The food is very good and the staff are very friendly and attentive. You won't be disappointed either

The food was quite good, and the service was decent, but the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The carpets were in such poor condition that it was evident they were once beige and had turned black over time. It's definitely time to replace those filthy carpets.

I absolutely love their French toast! It’s the best I’ve ever had.

Waitress was fantastic. Atmosphere was really cute. Food was unusual for southern people.
