Yummys Chinese Takeaway - Carlisle

I ordered three meals from this restaurant. When the meals were delivered, two of them were missing their main dishes. I called the restaurant and was told it would take two hours to get the missing items back to us. I asked for a refund instead, but was told they could only refund the missing items. So I would have gotten money back for my missing main dish and been left with a portion of plain rice for dinner. I ended up returning the entire order to the restaurant and getting a full refund. I will not be ordering from them again.

What has happened to Yummys? The chips were burnt, the portion sizes were tiny and filled with onions. There were only about 8 small pieces of salt and pepper chicken.

After a long day at work, I decided to treat myself to some salt and chilli chips, only to discover what appeared to be a toenail in them! Additionally, the chicken balls had a strong smell as if someone had coughed on them. I will not be returning to this restaurant again. It is important for people to be aware of the current serious illness going around and not cough on others' food.

I’m disgusted with this place!! I was treating my family to a Chinese takeaway and when I eventually got my food after a 2 and a half hour wait might I add! We opened the rice to then find a black hair! And there was an insect in the chow Mein! I am pleased to say I would never be ordering from this place again as long as I live!! DISGUSTING!

Absolutely vile salt and pepper chicken, had a taste of chemicals, almost as if their cooking utensils were still stained with cleaning products. Duck was just off cuts of fat, no meat to it. Salt and pepper chips were soggy and disgusting. Feel like this takeaway has given me a new variant of covid! 0.1/10
