All packaging (including knifes and forks) bio-degradable. The curry would have given my local curry house a good run for the money and not one bit of plastic in site. Outstanding value for money and a lovely view over the river. In none Covid times we would have gone to the pub but this was one of the few gains from this outbreak, a great curry overlooking the river. Only regret was I didn't buy one of those brownies.
After feeling a bit hungry following a walk, we stopped by a restaurant where we were warmly greeted by two friendly and helpful staff members. One of them happened to be the owner who assisted us in selecting a fantastic lunch option. We decided on trying their homemade cheese pie which was absolutely delicious. Make sure not to overlook this hidden gem when you're in Kirkby Lonsdale next time. You definitely won't be let down.
After a long walk, I stumbled upon a hidden gem, the Deli in Kirby Lonsdale. I ordered a succulent and tasty courgette and fennel quiche with crisp, light pastry, accompanied by two fresh and healthy salads - spiced chick peas and a feta, rocket and apple salad with a damson dressing, recommended by the proprietor. The total cost of this delicious meal was only £4! I savored every bite and was impressed by the eco-friendly packaging. I will definitely be returning to this delightful spot.
