The Crown Inn - Carlisle

2nd Sunday lunch there in 2 weeks! Cannot rate highly enough

After a little hiccup the wonderful Mathew found us a table in a crowded pub . The food is second to none, we had gammon for our mains looks great then the great Matilda bought us some vegetables . We had a great night , live band but had to leave early because of the lack of taxi situation.

Four of us visited on Saturday lunchtime and all enjoyed great meals. There was a festive menu and we can highly recommend the Christmas chicken meal and the burger with blue cheese. Service was great and nice atmosphere. We’ll be back to try some more of the festive menu

This pub is clean and lovely with a bright interior and newly cleaned bathrooms. The atmosphere and vibe are amazing, and I can't wait to come back and eat here soon.

It was my first time eating here, and I was very impressed. The food was delicious we had booked and table and food before going due to time of year and numbers. I ordered the beef which was delicious and well presented. I loved the individual gravy boat! The staff were friendly and food arrived promptly Definitely recommend
