Absolutely cracking Thai restaurant all ladies where polite very friendly great atmosphere food was delicious and tasty

Came here for lunch on Saturday and was a bit apprehensive after reading one of the reviews anyhow we needn’t have worried as everything was great. We were greeted very warmly and looked after well. The food was delicious, well presented, fresh and piping hot. The restaurant was very clean as were the toilets. Will definitely come here again.

Absolutely fantastic food, our go to place when going out for lunch. Love the panang if I want a curry, and the mixed seafood pad Thai is delicious if you want a stir fry.

5/5, service was amazing, food was ver very delicious and the staff were welcoming and made the whole experience amazing! Come to Carlisle a lot so this restaurant will be definitely be the go-to!

4 years of great food and service now food poisoning on Wednesday 20 September 2023 SIAM Thai 7 Lonsdale St, Carlisle CA1 1BJ Since Wednesday 20 September 2023 I have been suffering acute food poisoning following lunch. I had Pork Sweet and Sour and a pot of tea. I have had the same dish Pork Sweet and Sour at Siam Thai, Carlisle before and had no bad after effects. I have 6 days later not as yet been able to hold down solids. To my knowledge Siam Thai in Carlisle was closed until 14 September 2023 to facilitate all the staff to take their annual holiday in Thailand. Regrettably I shall not be eating at Siam Thai in Carlisle until they are fully inspected for safe food hygiene. Additionally there is a questionable anomaly about the pricing of Schweppes Lemonade (small which the identical in all nearby restaurants is £1.95 but in Siam Thai it is £3.95. Yet the receipt states that one has ordered a large Lemonade. On politely asking I was told that they could not alter the printer. Yet they are on the borderline of accounting anomalies. Something for their financial auditors as they charge £3.95 for each small Schweppes Lemonade.
