Roosters - Carlisle

This local takeout restaurant offers quick and friendly service. However, the fish quality and cooking are subpar. The fish is dry and tasteless, and the batter is extremely greasy, indicating possible overuse of fat/oil. It is disappointing to write this review, but I hope the owners take all feedback into consideration.

This is the worst kebab we have ever had. The meat was tough and the chips were soggy from being reheated. We spent 31 pounds on the meal but ended up throwing most of it away.

While the service is fast and the staff is friendly, the quality of the food is disappointing. The fries were soggy and bland, and the fish was undercooked, cold, and chewy. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Had fish and chips and also sausage busy shop was absolutely lovely Definitely recommend and would go back
