Quarter Lounge - Carlisle

We had an amazing night at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised by the DJ night. It was a brilliant experience!

My wife and I visited late afternoon after a friend recommend. I wasn't sure what to expect as I didn't look at any menu before visiting. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the manageress who took time out to chat with us. We had the festive sharing platter and it was delicious and filling. I cant wait to return and try some of the other meals on the menu. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning.

Today we dropped in for some dinner, service is good the food is not so good, I ordered hallumi burger the bread was stale falling to bits , my son ordered the meatballs in a flat bread he enjoyed it but the bread was not fresh either, worse thing is how dirty the place is, go in the toilets and see for yourself,

Tucked away in a courtyard down a deserted street, this is a modern, attractive restaurant with a nice outside terrace area. Not much open in Carlisle at lunchtime on a Sunday, even a bank holiday weekend! Efficient, pleasant staff and an interesting range of food available. We opted for their small plates to share for lunch between 3. Meatballs in spicy tomato ragu was especially delicious, as were the beer battered cod cheeks huge crispy onion rings. Pulled beef croquettes were tasty but a little dry the calamari haloumi could have been crisper. Would definitely return. However, please don't bring the bill before it's been requested or before you've asked us if we want desert/coffee makes us think you want to get rid of us...

This establishment isn't on the main street and only happened upon it because of a sandwich board at the end of the alley. What a little gem it is hidden away is this cool little restaurant and bar. Myself and my partner had wraps with loaded fries and her friend had some nachos all looked and tasted great, just wish I came with more of an appetite. Prices are reasonable and staff friendly young guy with tatts and piercings stood out for his service. Next time I'm we're in town we will make sure to allow more time for a proper visit.
