Penylins Wee Irish Cafe - Carlisle

We had a fantastic time at the restaurant, thanks to Penylyn who made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend the St. Patrick's Day free buffet, and my husband loved the Guinness pint. I also enjoyed my white wine. Be sure to try the Irish menu for breakfast, it's delicious. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful family café. good hearty eating for very little money. ulster fry up was brilliant as the cooked ham and eggs on toast.

I had a great time when Penylins hosted an open mic night. They offered a free beer for performers and provided sandwiches at intermission. The atmosphere was very friendly and had a real cozy feel. I definitely want to return and try their food.

Food was absolutely amazing in this lovely friendly welcoming little café. Reasonable price and excellent service. Definitely my first call when I'm in town and hungry.

Amazing Food so nice to have something unique in carlisle that isnt the same old cafe Food nowadays . If you want Fresh unique Food that is different to most cafes this is the place .Lovely Homemade Irish Food the Farls are amazing and all the produce was quality. It was just so nice to go to this cafe and to have something different the service was Friendly and the place was spotless clean .
