If you have a free day and are looking to try some excellent Thai food, the Coconut Tree is the place to go. Located in the marketplace in the heart of the city, you'll discover this charming little stand with fantastic food. The wait time is around 30 to 40 minutes, so it's best to visit when you have some time to spare. The food is even better than what you'd find in a traditional restaurant, and we spent just £25 for four people, drinks included. The green Thai curry was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly spicy. I highly recommend this place 100%! I will definitely be back for another delicious meal!

Over the last five years, we've visited this restaurant nearly 100 times. It has become a Monday tradition for us. The Thai food is outstanding and made from scratch while you wait. The prices are surprisingly low for the high quality and effort that goes into each dish.

We were truly impressed! This place stands out in the market hall and seemed like a must-visit. Although we weren’t in the mood for traditional speck and egg sandwiches, we decided to try the “Cocosnussbaum” option—and we were delighted! Everything was prepared exceptionally well, especially the chicken fried rice, which was fantastic. Additionally, the early spring rolls were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The only downside was that they only offered free water for drinks. However, it’s definitely worth a visit!
