The owners of this restaurant, Neil and Mary, are welcoming purveyors of delicious and wholesome traditional cuisine. They offer a diverse selection of menu items, including homemade cakes and slices, a rarity nowadays. The coffee served here is also top-notch.

This restaurant offers amazing lunch specials, with grilled chicken bursting with flavor. The Byron Bay coffee is excellent, and the homemade cakes are a delightful treat. It's a great family-owned business, and I'm happy to support this local gem, especially during the current travel restrictions. This café transported me to Malta and back with its delicious offerings.

The quality of this place is top-notch! The lunch prices are very reasonable.

Was a regular fan since its opening.Lovely family business! We have 'Flames' cafés in Holland Park. The hipsters tend to cross the street, but for us the food at 'Flames' is consistently beautiful and service is always great! A wide selection of vegetarian options...and always fresh and tasty. Your open grills and falaffel packs are the best!! So if you are looking for good, healthy, freshly cooked food and good food, this is the place to be!!

We were looking for a traditional breakfast whilst in the area (Bacon, Eggs, Tomato, Sausage, toast). Checked out the menus across the road and not exactly what we were looking for. Sure there were plenty of nice sounding meals on the Menus, all appearing to...be trendy chef type, with prices to match. Went here and got exactly what we were after for just over $10 (and struggled to finish too). Good, cheap meals!! We'll make this place a regular. Quick, friendly service also and pleasant views of the morning traffic.
