Gordon On The River - Cardigan

We very much enjoyed our evening in a junior suite at the Rodd. Spacious room, good shower, fluffy towels, comfy bed and pillows, patio, and a fabulous view. Great hot tub, which we made sure to use. The bathroom is a little tight, but no worries. We also had both dinner and breakfast at the clubhouse, and it was very good. My husband was able to borrow a few golf clubs in the pro shop to hit a bucket of balls, and this made him very happy. We would stay here again. Thanks for everything.

Our stay wasn't as pleasant as I would like. Our bathroom had signs of water damage and mold upon the ceiling. The ventilation system was clearly not functioning for quite some time and shown in the photos. I'm sure other guests would've brought this mold issue to the staff. Staff were friendly and helpful, at least. Unfortunately, dining options weren't great. The Gordon had the most consistent food and service. If they were open. This left guests with Club 19. However, we felt out of place since we were not golfers at the resort. Good thing we had leftovers from Charlottetown that we heated up. I would recommend this resort for its location, and it being pet friendly. The horse stables nearby were nice, and views were awesome. Hard to say if I would be back...

Attended the land surveyors conference golf tournament. Had a blast and the other three gentlemen I was teamed up with were amazing. Service: 5 Location: 5

Didn't stay here but we come to the restaurant often for lunch and my husband golfs here. The resort is beautiful alongside the water and the courses are spectacular. The staff, ALL of them, are friendly, fun and welcoming! Awesome place! Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
