The Black Lion - Cardiff

I reserved a table at this pub on Wednesday for Friday to enjoy some drinks and a meal with my friends. The food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful! I would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a quick yet delightful meal in a charming, old-school atmosphere. The hanging flower baskets outside give it a lovely summer vibe! Five stars!

Visited this pub on Friday for a meal with my family and i can proudly say that this is by far one of the best pub meals I've had in a very long time. The staff were extremely welcoming and so helpful and the meal was amazing. I would highly recommend the burgers and the presentation was beautiful. I will certainly be coming back to this lovely little pub!

Stumbled across this lovely bar last week with friends, the place is spacious spotless and very inviting, the staff were friendly attentive and polite, and the food was as delightful as the fabulous hanging baskets outside. We look forward to visiting it again soon. 5 star

Visited this little gem with the family last week and was made to SO welcomed, the staff could not do enough for us, and the manager was a ray of sunshine. The food was probably the best we had from a pub. I can’t recommend this the pub highly enough. 5 Stars plus.

You can't argue with the prices £2.90 for the IPA. The decor has seen better days and the toilets are a throwback. If you like your pubs slightly rundown then this is for you, the antithesis of a gastropub. The welcome was friendly enough
