Tried to order food on just eat. After paying £20 it took 10 minutes for just eat to say it had been cancelled. I accept that I don’t mind. So I rang up to enquire could I pick up if delivery was busy. I was told they because I cancelled a meal previously (5 months ago) as it was over an hour late and been in a car for an hour that they don’t want my business. When I went on to explain that this is against consumer rights they then said that they wasn’t delivering tonight (even though they was on just eat) .. to which he said that the delivery drivers car all of a sudden had a problem. Very poor customer service. Not sure if become complacent due to being open since covid-19 but will strongly defer anyone from ordering from these. Especially when this was for my child’s birthday.
So looking for a delivery for my partners birthday. Looking online and noticed the massive price hike ups. I happened to walk past here today and remembered the name and gave them a ring. Lovely food excellent value, quick delivery, lovely delivery driver. Our new go to take away.
Would have been very good take away had it not been for them forgetting the chips and then saying they would get someone to drop them off ‘straight away’, we waited a further 55 minutes at that point we became frustrated and our food had gone cold.
We ordered the set meal for 2 people and are thoroughly disappointed. We are not fussy and rarely complain or send back food but a spoonful from each dish was enough. The meats in each curry were dry and the sauces were tasteless- you really couldn't tell much of a difference between the types of curries. The naan arrived cold and soggy also. I did phone to explain how disappointed we were and to say that all of the food is still sat in the containers and will go uneaten. I even offered to return it the following day! The customce I received was terrible... rather than being empathetic, they informed me of how busy they had been that night (not really an excuse to be honest and that no one else had complained so he couldn't understand what could possibly be wrong with the food. He said that he would perhaps be willing to give us a discount on our next order (will absolutely not be reordering!!! And eventually told me he would consider refunding us £5!!!! We have wasted all of the food and £30... terrible customer service, terrible food. Do not waste your time and money with this place : On a second note just because you're a well established business and not all people complain about your food doesnt give you a right to just discard the complaints when you do suggesting we are the problem.
