Muffin Break - Cardiff

Despite them having a huge poster up behind the till that said ‘Vegan’, they didn’t have a single muffin that was! In addition to that, their hot chocolate contained milk too. Not good.

I used to enjoy Muffin Break when I was a vegetarian and missed their muffins as a treat. I was pleased to find out that they now offer vegan options! They only have one flavor available each day, so it's a bit of a surprise what they will have. I tried the Apple muffin and it was tasty. It was warm with a hint of cinnamon. While I was hoping for a blueberry muffin, I appreciate that they clearly label their vegan options. Overall, I'm happy with the selection and glad they offer vegan choices.

I used to enjoy their chocolate muffins when they were topped with large chocolate discs, but it seems like they have cut back on the amount of chocolate they use. Also, I am not a fan of the portion sizes.
