Restaurant Bistro Fruit - Carcassonne

Excellent location in the beautiful city carcassonne. much that happens around the diners, enjoy one of the many local restaurants in the center. menu choices were good, but service was quite slow....Bistro fruits is one of several possibilities in this special situation and contributes to an amazing French holiday atmosphere.

The carbonara ordered. came with extra cheese. twice I sent back as a mold. dry pasta with a spoon of sauce. no taste and no excuse also in a tourist area. has received nothing from the meal and service. would not eat here...again!

Set in a small square in the Cite, with interesting decor. We had 4 pizzas here all cooked nice and thin and crispy. Service was so-so. We paid by Monzo card and thanks to that great App it pinged immediately showing we had been overcharged...by E30. It was quickly remedied with a cash refund, but staff were hardly apologetic. There are plenty of better places to eat within a short walk ofthis place.

Dirty, uninterested staff and 8 euro for a small G&T!!!!! Food was basic, ok if the restaurant was clean and the staff friendly.

After a long and tiring day of sight seeing we just sat down at the first restaurant we saw with free table. With no expectations, we were pleasantly surprised. Efficient friendly service, the food was served speedily in large portions. My steak was delicious and they even cooked it a little more for me when requested as my French just was not up to asking for " a little more done than medium rare" when I ordered. The fries were hot and crisp, the salad fresh, with no sign of wilting despite the heat, and it was all topped off by an enormous ice cream sundae that I had to struggle heroically to get through. I would certainly return here if I'm ever in Carcassonne again.
