Kats Krab Go - Carbondale

I got a pound and a half of crab legs and a half pound of shrimp. I literally got 4 pieces of shrimp. I can tell the crab is purchased from Walmart by the tiny claws. They matched the Walmart rolls on the counter but I didn’t spot those, my daughter did and told me after. I am so mad because instead of driving 30 minutes there I could have drove an hour and 15 to Paducah for cheaper and a lot better! I feel like I just tossed money in the trash. Never again!

[My suggestion is make a reservation if you want better service. The food is good, with no frills or extras, but we will wait a little longer before we go back and give them time to get the kinks out]. Heres why: Went to Kat 's Krab n go for my birthday, just to find the door was locked. My husband called them, and they said you need a reservation. NOWHERE is it listed that you need a reservation; not on their Facebook page or online. They let us in, thankfully, but said it was 'inconvenient ' since they had no waitress for our table. (There was only ONE gentleman at a table, and later one couple with a child, who came in to be served. So apparently 5 people are TOO many). We were seated, and served a nice carafe of iced water. The food was good, but messy. We used lots of paper towels. When we were checking out, the waitress asked how was it ? I replied very good, but extremely messy she said that 's what the gloves and bibs are for. We replied we weren 't given any . oh, she says you should 've been . Well, duh.

Very good most of the time. Just not constant ordered same thing several times and every time it's different ingredients. But it's still good just not worth the price always.

We have been here for over an hr. Did not order apps., only ordered 1 lb of crab and 1/2 lb of shrimp and still waiting for our food. Will not be returning.

The food was absolutely amazing, crab legs, bread, shrimp, eggs, sausage, corn, and potatoes were all cooked perfectly. This place is going to cost more than most places in town but the price of seafood to get in is expensive so it's fairly priced for seafood. Biggest complaint was the serving size. Ordered two pounds of snow crab and received 4 clusters with the maximum cluster having 2 legs... will complain the next time I'm in it that is the portion. Not two pounds worth of legs...
