Chicago Hot Dog Shrimp - Carbondale

I really like Chicago hot dog. I think a lot of Carbondale people are missing out. They have gyros, pizza puffs (the original one from Chicago), Chicago hot dogs, and many more items.

As the owners of this local legend have are hard working people who have had a positive impact on local business feed thousands of students on a budget I almost want to give that 5th star just for the drive 2 succeed found here for over 20yrs. Somehow it seems unrealistic to hail a hot dog into such sophisticated status, unless u add alcohol b4 u dine on the beefy best served plump and nestled into warm poppy buns topped off as u please. Cheap, quick, variety of a small pub style menu in a casual relaxed atmosphere. Abolish the strip tax and back this crew on its back.

Seriously underrated longtime Carbondale eatery owned and run by local family. Cheap GOOD food. Fairly quick service. Inside leaves a little bit to be desired in the dining area but when you look at the cost of and quality of the food, it's fine! Everything is a la carte and the menu is rather extensive, but I can't properly explain how good it is.
