Kona Chips - CAPTAIN COOK

Chatted with someone, possibly an owner. In this location over 20 years. I grabbed some regular, extra spicy, and a big container of 'spicy ' bbq chips (low to medium spice, TBH). The big container was $32. I was too shocked or embarrassed to put it back, so I bought it. My guests and I agree, those were the best chips ever, and the container keeps them whole.

Great place to pick up fresh snack chips made on site. Support local businesses it really does matter.

Best chips I’ve ever had. To give you an idea we finished the entire bag within driving 2 miles away. Best crunch EVER. Totally worth paying a little more for locally made incredible chips

We saw the sign for chips and stopped by. We found parking across the street but crossing the road is a bit risky. I really like the original chips. They are kettle style made from Idaho potatoes. Crunchy and thick and salty. I also got the furikake chips and the Li Hing Mui (salted dried plums) which I've been eating since I was a child. The muis were not as salty or as dried as I'm use to. And I love them much more for it. So delicious! What a culinary joy. Thank you Kona Chips!

After coming from Oahu, I must say that the chips at this restaurant are absolutely fantastic, just like the staff. We received a warm welcome and they even offered to ship our purchases at a reasonable price. Two days later, we received a large box of our souvenirs that we enjoyed that evening. If I could rate them, I would give them 10 stars for sure.
