The Original Margaritaville - Capitola

I have a avoided this place for years out of fear of it being too touristy, but I’ve been missing out! I also don’t like chain restaurants for the most part because they tend to care less about the quality of food and make up for it with consistency and protocols. This place checks all boxes! I had the BEST steamed mussels and my daughter loved her fish tacos. I’ve been back with friends and we enjoyed the chicken nachos and steak tacos. Of course, the margaritas were perfect

Best food and margaritas in town! Love this place has come here for 7 years, my first date with my fiancé here so now celebrated its tradition to celebrate here every year and honestly the service was always great and best margaritas I have ever tried, and views are beautiful, highly recommended!

We visited my mother and drove to Capitola. We had lunch in Margaritaville and sat on the terrace. I had the Dungeness Crab Tostadas, my daughters both had the Baja Fish Tacos and my mom had the Mussels. The weather, the view, the service and the food were all very good. If I could change one thing, I would have asked them to leave the Chipotle Crema on the Tostadas. It was good, but it exaggerated the taste of the crab. Even with the guacamole it was not really necessary. But a great experience and super satisfied.
